Having made her feature directorial debut with the horror film THE LESSON (pictured), which had its world premiere at the Film4 FrightFest back in August, actress/writer Ruth Platt is ready to take the helm of her second feature, and she's not straying from the horror genre.
Titled MARTYR'S LANE, Platt's second movie is described as "a psychologically driven haunted house film" and is expected to enter production in the summer of 2016.
MARTYR'S LANE will be the first film made for the newly formed production company Escape Plan Productions.
Right now Escape Plan founder Oliver Kassman's promise that MARTYR'S LANE is a "haunting, arresting" project is all we have to go on, but we'll keep you informed as the filming start date draws near.
