Salma Hayek being eyed for the female lead in a Kevin James MMA film?

A Kevin James MMA film? What?

“It’s about a physics teacher whose school is facing cutbacks. In order to save the music teacher’s job, James moonlights as an MMA fighter.”

Ridiculous as that might sound, one good thing (or two… depending on what you’re looking at) is that curvacious dish Salma Hayek is being looked at by Sony to take on the lead female role in the untitled comedy. It would mark Hayek’s second time working with James (the first being GROWN UPS).

Also, MMA fighter Bas Rutten is reportedly being considered for the role of one of the fighters in the film. Rutten’s inclusion would make sense as he’s also doing voice work in James’ sure to be a critics darling ZOOKEEPER, as well as having appeared in PAUL BLART: MALL COP.

James will next be seen in Ron Howard’s THE DILEMMA next month.
