Salma Hayek to join Tiffany Haddish & Rose Byrne for Limited Partners comedy

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Paramount Pictures has announced via Deadline that THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD and FRIDA actress Salma Hayek will be joining Tiffany Haddish (NIGHT SCHOOL, THE OATH) and Rose Byrne (INSIDIOUS, SPY) in LIMITED PARTNERS, an upcoming comedy from director Miguel Arteta (YOUTH IN REVOLT, THE GOOD GIRL). Set to be written by Sam Pitman and Adam Cole-Kelly, LIMITED PARTNERS finds Haddish and Byrne starring as two no nonsense girlfriends who build a megacorp and find their BFF status tested when an inticing buyout offer is made. Getting in between the two women with her dividing offer is Hayek, who then plays the women against one another like an evil puppet master in high heels. With the future of all they'd built together on the verge of collapse, Bryne and Haddish engage in a war of one-upsmanship that promises to deliver plenty of laughs.

Following her role in LIMITED PARTNERS, which is expected to go into production this October, Hayek is set to reprise her role as Sonia Kincaid for THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD follow-up, THE HITMAN'S WIFE'S BODYGUARD. Rumored to be helmed by Patrick Hughes (RED HILL, THE EXPENDABLES 3), with a script penned by Tom O'Connor, Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are also expected to reprise their roles as Michael Bryce and Darius Kincaid, respectively.
