Move over Diane Keaton. Step aside Mia Farrow. Here comes Scarlett Johannson. Scarlett has signed on for her third Woody Allen film, an untitled film that will co-star Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Rebecca Hall (THE PRESTIGE). So far (as is usually the case with Allen films) little is known about the film. Allen will shoot this film in Spain after shooting his last three films in London. Johannson has a busy 2007 with THE NANNY DIARIES and THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL (Natalie Portman and Scarlett together…what a dynamic duo) both set for release. Scarlett has also been rumored to be interested in starring in an upcoming Broadway revival of “South Pacific,” which would start its run in January of 2008. Allen’s next film, CASSANDRA’S DREAM with Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor, will hit theaters in October. Filming on his latest project is expected to begin in Barcelona after the 4th of July holiday here in the states.
