Screen Actors Guild Awards provides nothing in the way of surprises

Last night was the SAG Awards and if you were looking for an award show to shake things up a bit (like how the DGA gave their Best Director award to Tom Hooper over David Fincher), you left the awards show feeling awfully disappointed. The list of winners in the movie categories would read just like how you would predict, with all the frontrunners - KING'S SPEECH, Colin Firth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale and Melissa Leo - all winning their categories.

Conventional wisdom has it that one of these frontrunners will wind up being upset on Oscar night but who will it be? Will Sony and Scott Rudin be able to launch a last minute campaign to get SOCIAL NETWORK back on top? Will Helena Bonham Carter ride the KING'S SPEECH avalanche to a win? Or will all these frontrunners just coast to another Oscar win and another boring Oscar ceremony? Check out a list of the movie winners at the SAG awards below...

I don't care about the backslapping and circle jerking that goes on within the Film Actors Guild. It's to the public to decide whether a film is good.

Either The Social Network or The King's Speech is taking home best picture.

I really hope Bale wins Best Supporting Actor. Or even having Ruffalo or Renner win would be fantastic.
