Seth Rogen vs. Zac Efron and frat boys! Red-band trailer and pictures for the comedy Neighbors
Formally called TOWNIES, NEIGHBORS is the latest project from director Nicholas Stoller (FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, GET HIM TO THE GREEK) and working partners Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The film follows a married couple who are stuck living next to a fraternity after the birth of their newborn baby. Zac Efron is in the film and it looks like he's the leader of the frat, and the it also stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Rose Byrne, Dave Franco and Lisa Kudrow. Craig Roberts (who played the boy in SUBMARINE) is in the film as well, and according to IMDB his character's name is Assjuice. Sold yet?
A red-band trailer has been released through MTV, and while it does have some funny moments (the Robert De Niro party, airbag scene) I feel like most of the really good stuff has been left out of the trailer, which I have no problem with as long as there is some epic battles in store for us between Rogen and Efron. In addition to the red-band trailer, some pictures for NEIGHBORS have also been released and for shits and giggles you can also check out the teaser trailer for the red-band, all of which have been posted below.
"Shit, that's not a balloon!"
NEIGHBORS is in theaters May 9th, 2014.
|Extra Tidbit:||By the way, SUBMARINE is a great film directed by Richard Ayoade. And if I hear anyone refer to Ayoade as "that dude from THE WATCH" I will be sending them a digital headbutt. You've been warned.|
