Shailene Woodley stars in the teaser for The Divergent Series: Allegiant

09.15.2015

After the earth-shattering revelations of INSURGENT (as I'm sure we've all experienced), Tris (Shailene Woodley) must escape with Four (Theo James) and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known in order to find a peaceful solution for their embroiled city. Check out some very familiar faces with the first teaser trailer.

As you may have noticed, the likes of Theo James, Octavia Spencer, Naomi Watts, Jeff Daniels, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, and Maggie Q (among others) are taking part in the YA series. Lionsgate isn't making HUNGER GAMES numbers with these flicks, but with a 4th installment already planned for 2017, the series isn't going anywhere any time soon. Are you down with the Divergents?

THE DIVERGENT SERIES: ALLEGIANT will open in theaters on March 18, 2016.

Do some research first

I get this site, the author & fellow schmoes aren't interested in these films, but it should be known that they are doing the typical splitting the last book into 2 separate films.

Wait a minute

wasn't this series only 3 books long ?
If the third movie isn't the last one, it means they did cut the last book in 2 films. Yet, it's not a 'part 1' in the tittle...
Strange...
beside, I wonder where they will do the separation between the two films if they do that...

SPOILER... SPOILER... SPOILER...

Maybe when she dies !
Now THAT would show some balls from the Studios, ending the first part with the hero's demise... Well, the casual viewers, not knowing the books, would probably

I paid to see the first one...nothing special. Saw the second one on the flight to the US and actually enjoyed it. Still, if they didn't make a third film, you won't hear me saying hey guys, what happened to that movie series with that girl who was supposed to be MJ but had her scenes cut where everyone was only supposed to have one emotion but very few did?

I don't hate these movies but they are no where near the level of "The Hunger Games" in both production value or story. I actually liked the first one a lot, but the second one lost steam a bit.

My roommate said she loved the first one, and I had to suffer through the second as well. Not that the movies are really that bad - I mean, I'm not a 14 year old girl, so it's hard for me to speculate. How a woman twice that age said she loved the first, I cannot speculate either. I simply cannot take that actress seriously with her one eye a quarter of an inch below where it should be.

There's more?

I thought this had finished after the last one.
It's not very good anyhow!
