Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows gets a couple of ugly new posters!

Hey, look! A major Hollywood picture, likely boasting a very large marketing budget, churns out a couple of butt-ugly one sheets! I am shocked.

Yes, terribly Photoshopped posters have sadly become the norm in this business, and these new ones for SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS are no exception. We are, however, given our first small glimpse of Jared Harris (“Mad Men”) as iconic villain Moriarty. So that’s good. I guess.

SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS – directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Jared Harris, Noomi Rapace, and Stephen Fry – opens December 16th.

Synopsis: Guy Ritchie helms a new action-packed adventure, following the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.), and his longtime trusted associate, Dr. Watson (Jude Law), as they match wits with their arch-nemesis, the criminal genius Moriarty (Jared Harris).
