This latest column on our digital confrere site DVD CLINIC asks

YOU to be participate and yes, ladies and germs….SHOW US YOUR
SHIT!! If you’ve got a cool collection of DVDs, movie posters, toys,
comic books, figurines, an awesome home theater set-up that you just
have to share with the rest of the world of movie nerds who reside
on this very site, this column is for you! Just read the
requirements below and drop us a line at [email protected]
with pics, videos and commentary about your nifty stuff and your
collection might be the next one up here.

REQUIREMENTS:

1) Please include any basic personal info on yourself, so others
could know who the f*ck you are. Age, sex, geographical location,
what you do in life, etc….

2) Take some pictures or videos of any cool shit you have in your
pad, and send it along with your message to us. Make sure that every
picture/video is explained and you don’t just send us a bunch of
pics and say “Here’s my shit!”, cause that’s not what
we’re looking for. We need some words attached to the pics, what
they are, where you might’ve got it, shit like that.

3) Try and zone in on a couple of your FAVORITE AND UNIQUE ITEMS
and point those out as well. If possible, let our readers know WHERE
you might’ve bought them, etc…

My
name is Edwin Botelho, and I’m 22 years old. I live in Massachusetts
and I work retail, and it’s sad, but true…this is my Pirates
of the Carribbean and DVD collection!

My
most prized possessions are the flag which you can see directly
below. The reason why it’s so special to me is because my mother
isn’t doing very well health-wise, she’s always in and out of the
hospital and one time when she went in I took it really bad and a
friend of mine at the time had given me the flag (which he got from
a resort in Florida) because he didn’t know how to help me deal with
the situation of losing my mother and it was his way of helping me.
We’re not friends anymore, but I still cherish the flag.

Another
is the snow globe, which you can see directly below, because my
brother-in-law and his significant other purchased it at the Disney
Store for me for my birthday. It sings and the snow
automatically fills in the globe so you don’t have to shake it, but
it’s awesome because it’s Davey Jones looking down on the Black
Pearl which the Kraken’s mouth on the bottom of the globe and the
tentacles coming up around it.

Another
is the Pinball machine which you can see right below this paragraph.
I got it on BestBuy.com
a while back and it’s not large, but it’s not small either. It’s
just nice to have as a part of the collection because you don’t see
it much anywhere.

And
of course, my Johnny Depp DVD collection which you can see below.
I’m trying to get every title because in my opinion he is the best
actor of our generation. Period.

The
rest of the pictures are just some POTC stuff I have purchased along
the way from places like Hot
Topic, Newbury
Comics, Spencer’s
and other assorted toy stores.
