For all the artsy fartsies out there (as my pigskin-tossing friends like to call them) the upcoming release of David Gordon Green’s SNOW ANGELS is kind of a big deal. I’ve plugged this movie on this site a number of times, and for good reason—his ALL THE REAL GIRLS is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while, and UNDERTOW was a brilliant twist on the conventional thriller. SNOW ANGELS will be your last chance to check out vintage Green before he apatowizes later this year with the Goldberg/Rogen written THE PINEAPPLE EXPRESS. Below is the SNOW ANGELS poster, which is understandably bleak since it’s about the loss of innocence of several characters in a small town. Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell star.
