Sons of Anarchy season 6 trailer with Charlie Hunnam and Ron Perlman comes roaring in

Aug. 9, 2013by:

You might have caught a little movie called PACIFIC RIM this summer, which has Charlie Hunnam as a fairly vanilla protagonist and Ron Perlman as a sleazy black market Kaiju organ merchant, but it's a far cry from the roles the two stars play on FX's brilliant biker drama from showrunner Kurt Sutter, Son of Anarchy. The show is entering its penultimate season next month and a new trailer has been released that once again shows the brothers of SAMCRO buried in deep shit without a shovel. The show has an absolutely brilliant supporting cast with Katey Segal, Mark Boone Junior, Kim Coates, Tommy Flanagan, Theo Rossi, and the stunning Maggie Siff. It's renowned for it's recurring guest spots as well, with the likes of Danny Trejo, Jimmy Smits, Donal Logue, and even a one-shot from author Stephen King.

Ride into season 6:

When I first saw the trailer for season one of this show it did nothing for me. Bikers? Drama? Whatever. Then, reviews and word of mouth spread and I thought, what the hell, I'll give it a shot. One shot was all it took. Showrunner Kurt Sutter has put his heart and soul into the show and it makes for some damn fine entertainment, which has me looking forward to it each season as much (if not more) than big studio release films (the same goes for HBO's Game of Thrones). If you're on the fence, it's worth a look (and streaming on Netflix if you want to catch up).

Sons of Anarchy season 6 premieres on FX on Tuesday, September 10, 2013.

Extra Tidbit: Do you think Hunnam can pull off a post-SOA career as a feature film actor? Could he be a contender for The Flash?

Hell yes..

I only started watching this series a month ago and i love it. Watched the first four seasons and am eagerly waiting for the 5th to come out on blu ray. As it stands, I think it's one of the top 5 shows on tv but thats just my useless opinion.

Mr. King...

That Stephen King cameo on SOA was perhaps one of the best cameos I have seen on film or television in the last 10 years, so perfect...

Probably best show on tv besides Walking Dead and Justified! After a weaker than usual 5th season, this season looks to be of the quality the 4th brought. I'm stoked to see Donal Logue go apeshit on the club. He's going to be a great addition for his multi episode arc.

spoiler - Omar don't scare.

Don't read if you know nothing of the show

I think it was season five I found out Otto was the writer and he also wrote the freggin awesome The Wire. My mind was blown even more so than when Opie bit it. Also if they could find a way to bring in Omar good gravy that would melt my tv.

Kurt Sutter didn't write for The Wire. He wrote for The Shield.

yeah, that's what I meant. although, it would still be pretty sweet if Omar showed up regardless.

If you meant the Shield, you wouldn't have put Omar in the title of your post.

Should be another solid season

I've enjoyed this show after jumping on the bandwagon after season two came on DVD. Really enjoy the characters and Sutter has found ways to keep me guessing each season.

I know alot of people consider Breaking Bad to be the best show on televsion and that's fine, but in my opinion Sons of Anarchy is the best show on televsion. Each season gets better and better.

I would put Breaking Bad in my top four with Sons of Anarchy, Justified, and Mad Men.
