Spacey aids Gore

09.25.2007
I'm pretty sure that if he put his mind to it, Kevin Spacey could probably play a wonderfully convincing Wonder Woman in the JLA movie. Screw Jessica Biel. The guy's a f*cking chameleon. It seems though, that he's going the other way, and starring in a TV movie called RECOUNT, about the contested 2000 Presidential election. The political drama, set to start shooting next month, will trace the story behind the acrimonious ballot recounts in Florida at the end of the 2000 race between Democrat Gore and then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush, a Republican. Somewhere Michael Moore is gonna be overjoyed or have a hemorrhage. Although this is a made-for-TV movie, the thing packs a punch, as Spacey joins Laura Dern (JURASSIC PARK), Tom Wilkinson (ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND) and Dennis Leary (RESCUE ME) in the cast. We'll next see Spacey working his magic in the unfortunate looking FRED CLAUS.
Extra Tidbit: Spacey auditioned for The Gong Show and was rejected.

Honestly, I'd probably check Spacey out in Fred Clause before I subject myself to this.

It WAS the first time the ENTIRE NATION and the WORLD got to WITNESS all that boring political shit go down. I don't actually think it was THAT boring when it was happening but it doesn't sound like enough to make a movie about.

Gee, let me guess. Whose side do you think they take? Oh yeah, impartial, just like the media. Sorry you didn't win. Look in the history books-it happened before. That was not the first time that the winner of the popular vote did not get elected. Try not to be such whiny spoilsports about it for the rest of your pathetic lives. Thank you, Come again.
