Spielberg's War Horse gets posterized
Isn't it weird that this holiday season we're getting two films from Steven Spielberg? Albeit one is THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN, a mo-cap project Spielberg has been working on for some time, but in December we also get WAR HORSE, a film I'll admit to forgetting is on the horizon.
WAR HORSE has been keeping it low-key up until this point but today we have the first look at the poster. And it's very Spielbergian. Shot during the "magic hour" (or at least Photoshopped during the "magic hour"...) with a very Hollywood style tagline: "Separated by war. Tested by battle. Bound by friendship."
The poster is also reminiscent of the cover of the best-selling book the film is based on, perhaps to remind people of the link between the two properties.
WAR HORSE hits theaters this Christmas but which Spielberg film are you most looking forward to?

And yes, I'm talking about the horse. It looks like it's auditioning to be the hunky male on the cover of a romance novel.

Meh...
um...
Better than average and yet . . .
Sappy Hollywood Sentimentality
nice
The movie is based off a book but there is also a play of the story on Broadway right now, it won the Tony for best play and thats a pretty good premonition for the movie.

Should both be quality titles
I'll see War Horse in theatres as well, but only because it's Spielberg. Had it been made by anyone else, based on the trailer, I would have passed on it.
