Spoilers: Find out which character might be back for The Walking Dead

Dec. 31, 2013by:

This is interesting. An actor from The Walking Dead has revealed that his character might be back for AMC's hit show. It seems very unlikely that this character would return, considering what happened to him when we saw him last. Which character you ask? You're going to have to scroll past the spoiler buffer to find out. Some of you may not like the news below, so please remember that I'm just the messenger here, OK?

In an interview with the Associated Press, David Morrissey was asked if his character The Governor was gone forever since he died at the end of the last episode. Morrissey's response?

"Something happened to him. I feel like a shady politician where I can't confirm and I can't deny anything. Certainly, bad things befell him at the end of the last episode but we just have to wait and see."

Does this mean The Governor didn't die in the last episode? Not necessarily. Maybe he'll be featured in a flashback, or there will be a shot of his lifeless body in a new episode. Regardless of the how though, it does sound like The Governor will be back on the show.

AMC's The Walking Dead will begin airing new episodes on February 9th, 2014.

SPOILERS IN THIS POST

Even though it sounds completely impossible for him to return and also stupid that he would considering he was shot in the face! But if he is going to be brought back, they better bring him back as a replacement to Negan considering that story in the comics has been more or less the same as The Governor story arc, just with a slightly different personality.

He is dead. If you notice the people running around at the end someone steps on a king chess piece. He signified the king and it getting stepped on tells us the king is dead. Now if he shows up in a pre zombie episode that's a different story but I won't hold my breath on seeing him again.

The mid-season finale was great...but it should have been the final episode of season 3. Honestly...those 3 episodes felt like the people behind TWD realising they f**ked up big time at the end of season 3...and had to fix it....rather than a continuation of what happened. I mean...he had a better...or so it seemed trained team in his first group than the new one (such was the limited time was got with the new group whose to say otherwise)...that the kind of attack launched in the mid season

I'm still lol-ing over the let a few tear gas canisters off...and fire a few shots in to the air....have civilians acting as soldiers leg it in panic....only for them to be chased down by the leader and gunned down. No...I definitely I think had the mid-season finale been the season 3's ending we'd have all been a lot happier with the series from season 1 to date as a whole.

No, they've done everything they can do with his character. Let him come back as a walker and and then get shot.

David Morrissey is a fantastic job playing the Governor, but it's time to give the character a break.

Well this is a little ridiculous to me, he was literally the focal point for an entire season. I think fans are exhausted of his psychopath ways.

No thanks. No reason to bring him back. Still a lot of comic book characters to go through. Bring on the cannibals and Negan

Well

he was the most interesting character on the show. Those last 3 episodes featuring him were excellent. Also he could've survived the sword and we never saw him actually get shot. I am not sure why the negative comments though, I mean it's not as if the writing of the show will suddenly go down the toilet if he comes back. I tend to judge the episodes I have seen, not the ones that may or may not happen.

I honestly don't mind

If he comes back in another minor story arc to finally be killed off that's fine. It's not like it'll ever be like season 3 again where nearly every episode revolved around him and Woodbury. I would like to see him come back as a walker at some point.

I still had the episode on my pvr, so took a look to see if there was any proof he survived.

You don't even see him get shot on screen! For all we know, the chick shoots a walker and helps the Governor escape.
