Stephen Dorff gets stuck in a car trunk in this Brake trailer

Looks like BURIED might have started a new subgenre- the “trapped in a box” film. BRAKE sees Stephen Dorff waking up in a the back of a locked trunk in a moving car. There’s a digital clock counting down and he knows something bad’s going to happen at the end of it. This new trailer will give you some idea of what to expect.

Here’s the full synopsis- Jeremy Reins (Stephen Dorff) is about to have a very bad day. He wakes up in total darkness, confused and disoriented. The only light comes from the blood-red digital numbers ticking away above his head. Jeremy quickly realizes he’s in trouble. It’s hard to breath. He can barely move. And no one will answer his cries for help. Then, he hears the sound of an engine and it all becomes clear…he’s trapped in the trunk of a moving car.

As his captors reveal themselves and their motives, Jeremy realizes he won’t be set free until he gives up the whereabouts of “Roulette,” a secret location where the U.S. President is taken in the event of a terrorist attack.

BRAKE will be available on IFC Midnight’s digital and VOD platforms for streaming a full month ahead of theaters, so check your preferred platform (iTunes, Xbox, PS3, Amazon, etc) to see the film.

For more Stephen Dorff goodness, might I suggest checking out BOTCHED? It’s utterly insane and I’m not sure why it hasn’t become a cult hit. It’s basically a FROM DUSK TILL DAWN type movie about a jewel thief who gets stuck in a building with mobsters and two serial killers who are descendants of Ivan the Terrible. (Yes, it’s as amazing as it sounds.)
