Stephen Lang confirmed to play villain Khalar Singh in Conan | Movie News

Last week, we reported news from Latino Review that Stephen Lang was offered the role of the evil Khalar Singh in Conan.
Today MTV news gives confirmation of the role. During a short talk with the actor at the Oscars, Lang stated that he had accepted the part of Khalar Singh.
The conversation with Lang is quite hilarious. At one point he says, "I'm going to cut the nuts off Conan and his father." Epic! He might be the only reason to see the movie, and by see I mean rent.

Extra Tidbit: Stephen Lang auditioned for the role of Corporal Dwayne Hicks in ALIENS, but lost to James Remar, who was then replaced by Michael Biehn. Ironically, years later Lang was cast as Colonel Quaritch in AVATAR after Cameron decided against casting his original choice for the part, Michael Biehn, feeling that having Biehn in the film along with Sigourney Weaver would have made the film feel too much like ALIENS.
