TOY STORY 3 is going to infinity and beyond.

When the film is released on June 18, 2010, seeing it in IMAX will also be an option. Viewing a giant Mr. Potato Head will be the thrill of my lifetime. No, I am not being sarcastic. IMAX CEO Richard L. Gelfond is excited about it too, "We have always envisioned the Toy Story franchise as an ideal fit for the Imax experience and we're very happy to finally turn that vision into a reality,"

TOY STORY for me has always been something quite special. Every kid dreams of what it would be like if their toys came to life. Unless you were little Hitler or something, and even then I'm pretty sure he dreamed of his own toy army enslaving humans to some extent.

It's also the journey of growing up. We wish that we could stay young forever, but the best thing that we can do is keep our imaginations alive. When you grow up, it's seems that one thing that keeps a tiny bit of childhood with us, dwindles away. But for now, I'll step off my soap box and anticipate the arrival of the third chapter in series.

I'd rather see it in IMAX 3D than crap Digital 3D. But I might just stick with seeing it in traditional 2D. Digital proj. of course.

In a very ironic turn, Miguelito just reinforced what I said by taking "pseudo-intellectual" as a compliment. He either doesn't know what it means and is pretending to in order to save face, or he is an idiot. Or both.

If Toy Story 2 hadn't been such a piece of crap, then I might be more optimistic about 3. 10 years later, however, I'm not so sure they'll ever be able to recapture the magic. Am I the only one who thought the first was perfectly great in and of itself. A complete and touching story. There's not a whole lot to add to it, only tarnish it.

The first one was great. The second obviously didn't top it, but it wasn't the worst film ever made. I think that 10 years time is plenty enough to get back on your game.

Oh, and compartment is an word choice to explain the potato butt.

IMAX or not...
this movie is still about a bunch of toys running around doing menial things. It just ain't that interesting, folks. You all can have fun paying all that extra money to see up Mr. Potato Head's buttcrack in extra high def. Be my guest!
