Yesterday, Netflix and their marketing team teased the impending arrival of the final trailer for Stranger Things season 2 with an awesome promo that paid homage to the trailer for the original FRIDAY THE 13TH. Now that final Stranger Things season 2 trailer has been released online.

Watching the trailer, I was at first concerned that I was going to be underwhelmed by it, at least compared to my reaction to the "Thriller" trailer. Nothing can live up to that "Thriller" trailer. But as this trailer went on and the music got more intense, my smile broadened. Stranger Things is coming back and I am hyped.

With a cast that includes Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, Sean Astin, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Paul Reiser, Dacre Montgomery, Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Millie Bobby Brown, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Brett Gelman, and Linnea Berthelsen, season 2 has the following synopsis:

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

All episodes of the new season will be available for binge watching on Netflix as of October 27th. In the meantime, give this trailer a look:
