Nope...
A whole big bunch of 'NOPE' in this lineup. Well, that and 'LOUD and 'DUMB'. To each his own, but whatever. Guess a lot of you will buy anything these days. Ugh...

Was waiting till someone came up with that gem. Don't know about your writing macro, but I can think fast and type fast. Took me about 7-8 odd minutes to write that. Jesus Christ had absolutely nothing to do with it, I assure you. Still, it's flattering that you thought writing something like that required a 24 hour period and devine intervention.

STAR TREK owned it, and I'm not even a "trekkie". Can't wait to see that movie. Pixar has put out some of the best films ever made so of course I'll be there for UP ... Year One also looks pretty damn funny.

The rest were typical summer movies... loud and stupid. I might check out GI Joe though, and maybe even Fast&Furious to see Vin Diesel back as Dom.

TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN: Can't wait till the maniacal edits, plot holes the size of texas and jitter cam are in full swing. Considering how bad the first Transformers was, I have very little hope for this. If Michael Bay’s resume is anything to go buy, I’d bet on pigs flying before he manages to make something remotely coherent. I'd like nothing better than to be proven wrong with
TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN: Can't wait till the maniacal edits, plot holes the size of texas and jitter cam are in full swing. Considering how bad the first Transformers was, I have very little hope for this. If Michael Bay’s resume is anything to go buy, I’d bet on pigs flying before he manages to make something remotely coherent. I'd like nothing better than to be proven wrong with Revenge of The Fallen but I've learnt my lesson over the years.

GI JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA: On the fence with this one. Granted, the source material doesn’t leave much to work with but if this turns out to be another Transformers or Street Fighter, it would be a shame. The costume changes aren’t that big of a deal, sometimes what's good for animation and a comic isn’t good for live action. X-Men anyone? Still, I feel they could’ve done a little better. If this is even half decent, I’ll consider it a success.

STAR TREK: I have high hopes for this. J.J. Abrams is captain in charge which should serve the Trek universe just fine. He's not the hardcore Trekkie which is exactly what the new Star Trek film needed. A fresh perspective without being weighed down by the Trekkie'ness. There are massive complaints on how the ship looks, which I don’t really understand. Personally speaking, I think the ship and the general look of the film is just fine. Here’s hoping for a kickass film.

THE YEAR ONE: I haven’t heard much about this but if the cast is anything to go by, things look promising. The Year One has a lot of potential and the television spot is pretty funny as well. Looking forward to this.

MONSTERS VS. ALIENS: Pixar has had a monopoly on animation and for good reason. Dreamworks Shrek and Kung Fu Panda were memorable shots across the bow but it will take more than that to sink Pixar's ship. Comparisons to Monsters Inc. will be made, I’m hoping the similarities end at just the title and they’re able to create something original. Admittedly, I’m not looking forward to this as much as I’m looking forward to UP but I’m hoping for the best.

UP: You know what they say about being at the top... It’s lonely up there. With the consistency Pixar have displayed over the years, their reputation has reached mythical proportions. Pixar’s resume speaks for itself and so does the trailer for UP. Hopefully they can keep raising those expectations. If anyone can have blind faith in a studio, I’d point them to Pixar. I’ll be there opening night.

ANGELS AND DEMONS: After watching The Da Vinci Code my hopes for this film are a bit lukewarm. The first one was missing the charm and excitement of the book, not to mention, there wasn’t much between Tom Hanks and Audrey Toutou. Two fine actors no doubt but it didn’t seem like there was much chemistry. The trailer for Angels And Demons looks good and I’m hoping Ron Howard can deliver. On a side note, it’s nice to see Hanks’s Langdon with a normal haircut.

FAST & FURIOUS: Well, it isn’t the Saw series, which is a start. The first one wasn’t anything special but the sequels made it seem like a masterpiece. This one has the original cast members back, which is a start. I don’t have high expectations to begin with so I’m hoping this will surprise me. In any case, the trailer is run of the mill, so fingers crossed.

LAND OF THE LOST: I wish Will Ferrell could make another film like Stranger Than Fiction, but that’s another story. I’ve never seen the original television series – before my time – but this looks fine, if the trailer is anything to go by, it's exactly what you'd expect from a Will Ferrell film. I’m just hoping that this isn’t another Semi Pro. I'm cautiously optimistic.

RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN: I haven’t read the book or seen the original 1975 film. So I’m taking this as a standalone experience. To tell you the truth, I thought the first trailer for Witch Mountain was much better. In any case, if the trailers are indication, I’d say Buena Vista might just have a hit on their hands. Then again, trailers can be made to look like anything. I’ve always thought Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to be fairly underrated, he’s got a decent amount of range and can be damn funny at times. I’ll probably check this one out.

Man oh man oh man! I kinda' had my doubts on Transformers 2 even though I loved, LOVED, [link] I felt Bay jumped into it too soon. I still don't know if it'll be awesome but it sure feels awesome to be all hyped up now after watching that 30-second spot of complete uber-fantasticness. Cant wait for the trailer and the movie itself. Looks like a shipload of fun!

TF2 was great. Nice to see they added a couple of shots that were filmed in my backyard (Bethlehem). So far, GI Joe looks great. Whether or not it IS great is another story...

Transformers 2 looked good. Hopefully the first movie established the concept enough for the second one to get down to more proper robot ass-kicking, and less comedy dicking about. Would be nice if the robots had more personality, but that seems unlikely in a Bay movie.
G.I. Joe - looked way better than I thought it would, though that's not saying much.
Trek - I'll go see it regardless, but so

You're wrong bitches!
And it's your opinion! However, after seeing the trailer for GI Joe, I have faith that it'll be a rocking good time. Admit it, if the movie wasn't called, or had anything to do with GI Joe, you all wouldn't be bashing it as much. It looks fast paced and fun. If you feel the same way AFTER seeing it, then you are welcome to take a dump all over it.

As for TF2, it will be more mindless fun

And BTW, A Watchmen TV Spot appeared too...ONLY IN fucking Canada for some reason.

TF2- Cool concept but the payoff won't be great, I have a feeling. I was drawn to the first and I was let down honestly.

GI JOE- is gonna blow. Mark my words.

Star Trek - I'm not a fan of the series by any means but this looks pretty kick ass, not dumbed down at all as DaForce said. Abrams is good and it just may recruit new fans to check the true origins.

Year One - probably a couple

Year One - probably a couple good laughs, I dig Cera and Black, funny idea, reminded me of "The Life of Brian"

MvA - nothing like a Pixar movie I tell ya.

UP - nothing like a Pixar movie I tell ya.

Fast and Furious - equals poop.

Angels and Demons - show promise, I dug the book and felt The Da Vinci Code was kinda underrated. We'll see.

Land of the Lost - bleh.

Race to Wtich Mountain - poop.

That about sums it up for now.

Year One, looks funny. I like Cera's hair
Fast and Furious, never seen one, but i like Rodriguez.
UP, can't wait.
Monsters vs Alien, should be fun

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Star Trek looks like a dumbed-down version of the franchise for non-fans, complete with lots of explosions to keep the simpletons focused on the screen because the story is gonna suck ass.

GI Joe, meh, didn't see enough to make me care about it. Same with Transformers 2.

Land of the Lost looks like pure video rental, as does the remake of the Fast

Land of the Lost looks like pure video rental, as does the remake of the Fast and the Furious. Yeah, I know it's not a remake, but it may as well be considering all the careers in it are dead. And speaking of remakes...isn't this Disney's third time remaking Witch mountain? Why? The other two times sucked.

Up and Monsters Vs. Aliens were the only movies with any originality and story to the trailers shown.

Angels and Demons was slightly interesting and i didnt hate the first movie. Seriously. Year One looks painfully and terrifyingly bad.

It literally looks like Michael Cera and Jack Black were put into a Xena episode, and told to act funny.

Truly heinous.

The first movie wasnt like that... if you remember the teaser trailer to the first Transformers was the one where they had the mars rover on mars and you saw a glimpse of an autobot/decepticon... so yeah... the point of the teaser trailer is to show basically no plot..just a glimpse into the movie :)

Land of the Lost - what the hell is this thing , i guess it's trying to be cute ( a Matt Lauer cameo , way too funny for me ) but it failed to get me interested . Ferrel is beyond annoying at this point , but it's not just him , the cgi is suspect and the story looks boring , didn't we already see this film just recently , JTTCOTE in 3d .

Year One - now this one made me want to rip whatever hair i have left out of my head . Jack Black playing the same character he has played since Airborne . Why do people think this guy is still funny . The film looks horrendous , uninspired , cliched , derivative and , worst of all , unfunny which will prob translate into a hit . Just watch any of his other films , it will be the same effect .

FAF - did someone call for this sequel ? It's so Ott it makes the Transporter films look like an exercise in restraint . At least it lets Mrod collect another paycheck . I don't even want to rent this one .

THEY ARE NOT XMEN!(cough excuse me).. and the fact that the only GI joe that really had black were Snake Eyes, Destro and Baroness.. THE TRAILER itself makes the movie look pretty damn cool... im actually looking forward to watching it now..
