Sylvester Stallone teases Creed 2 and a potential Ivan Drago connection

"I guess what I'm trying to say, is that if I can change, and you can change, everybody can change!" Rocky Balboa's cheesy yet touching speech brought ROCKY IV to a close, but apparently not everyone can change if Sylvester Stallone's tease for the upcoming CREED sequel is any indication. Stallone has spent the past week posting images of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) from ROCKY IV with the suggestion that Drago, or his legacy, could factor into the next CREED film. Sylvester Stallone's latest image features Drago and Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) facing off while Rocky watches from the ropes.

With that little business of Ivan Drago killing Adonis' father (Carl Weathers) in the ring, I can imagine that there may be a little unresolved anger towards the Russian. As for whether Drago or one of his children would face off against Creed, I can't say, but Dolph Lundgren is certainly still in great shape if they're moving in the direction of the former. Of course, these teases from Sylvester Stallone may be just that, teases, but Stallone has hinted at a possible Russian storyline before. Check out a few of Stallone's other Ivan Drago posts from the past week below.
