Take a look at paradise in this new image from Alien: Covenant

Alien Covenant

As the story of ALIEN: COVENANT goes, the crew of a colony ship is bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, only to discover what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark and dangerous world. Filming for this supposed Eden took place in Milford Sound, New Zealand, and you can get a glimpse of our crew there in this latest image!

If there's one thing Ridley Scott has going for his films, it's that they always show off some gorgeous locales. The footage we've seen thus far has been very careful not to reveal too much of what's going on except that the classic Xenomorphs will come into play. That's going to be enough for most audiences, but I'm really excited to see what other surprises Scott and Co. have in-store for us with what's said to be the bloodiest of the series!

ALIEN: COVENANT opens in theaters on May 19, 2017.

But we all know looks arent the biggest problem. I hope it will be good and fully embraces the xenomorphs but to me Scott hasnt been interesting since Kingdom. Even the Martian i didnt like.

Can't wait for this and to dive back into the Prometheus/Alien universe again with some more Xenomorphs.

I'm eagerly awaiting this flick. I love Alien and Aliens. Alien 3 worked on some levels. Prometheus, while initially unsatisfying, has grown on me a bit. With the film being three months away, I'm conflicted as to whether I'd like to see more footage in the form of a new trailer or not.

James Cameron nailed it when he discussed promethius and the other alien sequels. It's the same thing over and over again. It hasn't evolved at all, and it just isn't scary or exciting anymore.

The same goes for the Terminator franchise, though. James Cameron recently stated he'd like to get Tim Miller (Deadpool) behind the camera for a reboot of the Terminator. I didn't see the last Terminator movie because I disliked the casting and I had lost interest in the franchise, but Terminator 3 was subpar and Terminator: Salvation felt lazy. It's a series that needs to die. I think the Alien franchise has fared better.

The Aliens Sequels were still better than those last Terminator movies and James Cameron was praising that shit. And he is doing These Avatar-Sequels which nobody wants to see. So yeah, I don´t really care about his opinion.

He always has the last laugh. No one has seen a thing to do with Avatar 2 and your already thinking its gonna be shitty. He knows what hes doing, hes creating an entire underwater world for A2, its gonna be mind blowing and probably make 3 billion dollars. The last time the guy made a sequel he made T2 so I don't get the hate.
