It's easy for the hype over a film like CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR to get out of hand, but every so often, a film is able to live up to it. As I haven't seen the film yet myself I can't speak for its quality, but CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR has definitely received an enthusiastic reception so far, including from our own editor-in-chief Paul Shirey. The upcoming Marvel flick will see Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) butting heads with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) on whether the heroes of Earth should be overseen by a governing body or remain free to defend humanity free from government interference. The large group of heroes who will populating CIVIL WAR has fallen under two camps, Team Cap or Team Iron Man, and each team is the focus of a pair of new CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR spots.

Check 'em out!

While we're on the CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR train, here's a clip featuring Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) each pursuing Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) as well as a viral clip of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) having his way with the Eiffel Tower.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR will hit theaters on May 6, 2016 and you can read our own Paul Shirey's review of the film right here.

Probably best to stay away from trailers/spots and so on...if you want to stay away from the hype. As tempted as I am...I'm staying away - don't ever wish to suffer from over exposure as happened with Man of Steel.

Like the Bat vs Supes fight, it seems a rather artifical excuse to fight. Sit down and chat with a beer or a coffee, and the two sides could easily resolve their differences.

Not that easy in this. One side effectively becomes fugitives, and if early thoughts about this are true, Winter Soldier is responsible for Tony's parents deaths. Cap sides with freedom and protecting Bucky instead of with Tony. In Tony's eyes he would be protecting his parents killers. Add to that their disagreement with registration and you have a much more compelling, and justifiable reason for the two camps to be at odds and actually be fighting. And I guarantee they are just going to stop

Whilst I never read The Dark Knight Returns, assuming the animated film replicated the reasons for Batman and Superman to come to blows...it was done very well - very believable - unlike the reason for coming to blows in Dawn of Justice (Batman thinks Superman 'might' destroy the world when he's done enough to prove he's trying to help / a little bit of homework may have at least made him somewhat open to the possibility that Supes might just be a force for good - Alfred sees it), . Hell, even

Hell, even the 90's animated crossover between Superman and Batman involved a more justifiable 'scuffle''. Assuming Civil War goes the way it goes, I will also find the reasons our heroes come to blows to be justifiable - not something you can sort out with simple chat over a cup of tea.
