Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history. COCO looks to add some great new characters to Pixar's roster, and now we have a new teaser poster and timeframe for the trailer!

COCO director Lee Unkrich took to Twitter today to reveal a new teaser poster for the film (of which you can see below) and to announce that the first trailer will arrive next week! As much as the masses love the bulk of Pixar's work, I think we're all itching for something new from the animation house. In the meantime, enjoy the gorgeous artwork and prepare for some more COCO next week!

COCO will open in theaters on November 22, 2017.
