Still have no interest in this film, it just feels unnecessary to me, We already have 4 decent NInja Turtles films, so thats enough for me.

On a side note I still cannot believe they are still moving forward with Jurassic Park IV? Yet another pointless sequel. I can't say my childhood is ruined since I was 15 when the original came out.

Not that I cared for this movie before, but this is like adding insult to injury. What's plus? The plans are for a "mo-cap cast", for the Turtles obviously, why?? The suits and animatronic masks from the original TMNT movies still hold up better today than 95% of the cgi and mo-cap crap we have in movies nowadays! If anything, just use suit and animatronic masks again, and add a little cgi here and there to augment details in facial expressions.

I will see it on my computer screen just to confirm how bad it is. However, I dare to predict that a very impressive and well-cut trailer showing off a good amount of CGI goodness accompanied with an epic musical piece hinting a �serious� tone of the film, will make many of us think twice� Honestly, those first trailers of Battle Los Angeles and Wrath of The Titans (with Manson�s �Sweet Dreams� playing behind it) was damn impressive. At least, they drawn my attention and gain my curiosity.

I �m almost certain that this movie will be a disaster, particularly concerning the scenes between the fights (which by the way, I believe will be well choreographed and that�s the only thing in this film for some reason that I am optimistic about). Otherwise, as long as they choose to go the Transformers route, having annoying and useless characters filling up the film with no-brainer gags targeting �youtube-friendly� audiences with mediocre sense of humor, and at the same time, displaying some First Grade ethics about adulthood and family or honor or good vs evil, then the movie will be a total fail�

Mo-Cap? I now hate this remake. The original TMNT movie back in the 80s, however cheesy it may seem, captured my attention because of the actual Turtle Suit that four actors had to wear in order to portray TMNT.

I am looking forward to seeing what happens even though I more than dislike the whole alien origin. I mean, the OOZE being alien in origin, okay. The universe filled with human-like animals from Earth, no thanks. Give me Earth Turtles mutated otherwise...what's the point? That said, I don't care for Megan Fox being April either, if that is in fact her role. (be Irma, be Irma) but I will certainly give the movie a chance. Bay and Co really need to give us something more than "Quit whining,

as far as I'm concerned Platinum Dunes, Michael Bay and this movie can all go and fuck themselves. Anyone not expecting utter dross from this movie has clearly had the blinkers one when it comes to anything Michael Bay, Jonathan Liebesman and Platinum Dunes has made. Giving this movie the "benefit of the doubt" is fucking ridiculous, to have anything but utter disdain from this project is to be able to somehow ignore Bay's utter dross of a career, up to and including Transformers 1/2/3,

Platinum Dunes awful Texas Chainsaw Massacre re-make AND prequel, the awful Nightmare on Elm Street re-make, the awful Friday 13th re-makes....it goes on. There's just not a good film on any of their resumes, infact there are 90% genuinely offensively bad ones, and the more people give these movies the "benefit of the doubt" the more this useless company will continue to buy franchises we once enjoyed and suck all of the coherence and fun out of them. It will be your guys fault when Michael Bay is holding hostage your next Ghostbusters movie, or Masters of the Universe, or any other project you loved in your youth and hold out hope for a fun, smart re-interpretation only to receive a badly shot, badly written, badly edited brainless void of celluloid.

I'm glad your boy loves the new Nickelodeon show as it is awesome, and hopefully you'll show him the first two Ninja Turtles movie, perhaps even Turtles Forever, but keep him the hell away from this obvious mess of a project. Now I know what you're thinking, that "It's not made for our generation, it's for a difference audience", well I call bullshit on that, as it may be made for a different audience, but just because a movie is popcorn and kiddie friendly doesn't mean it's OK to be an awful brainless pile of shite. They might lap it up simply because it exists but frankly this new, younger audience deserves much better than the shit that they're going to get and quite frankly so do any fans of these characters.

And whilst I do enjoy the Turtles, I wouldn't say I'm a MASSIVE fan. I'm just sick of shit companies like these constantly getting "the benefit of the doubt", without earning it, simply because they're bought the right franchise logo to stick on one of their cinematic turds.

Don't get me wrong, I loved it as a kid and it was great entertainment, but it didn't have nearly the same quality, tone, and weight that the they've put into the franchise today. Basically, it's matured to match it's comic book counterpart, and I am afraid the movie won't match it. I'll wait for a trailer, and I am a big enough fan of the turtles that I will probably see the film, but so far, I am not pleased with what I've been reading and hearing.

I'll let a trailer sway my judgement...

but until then I will enjoy the shit out of that new Nickelodeon Cartoon series, because as you stated above, it is the best animated incarnation of these characters EVER. That's right I said it. It captures all the tone and fun of the original series but uses new technologies to make their ninja fight scenes some of the best animated fights I've ever seen on TV and I love it. I feel like I'm 8 years old again when I watch it. That's high praise.

First movie rules

The first ninja turtles movie was the best, it was dark and gritty but had alot of fun factor to it, though I just watched part 1&2 recently and forgot how cheesy it is the second one was.

I really hope Michael Bay decides to surprise us and actually delivers a really good Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, but until we see some footage I have to keep my expectations low.

Having Megan Fox as April does not represent a serious tone so far.
