The CW has officially stepped up their game and are bringing together a group of heroes in what’s sure to be one of the biggest TV events in comic history. Legends of Tomorrow will focus on the time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter as he is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat. The show will feature Victor Garber (The Flash), Brandon Routh (Arrow), Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who), Caity Lotz (Arrow), Ciarra Renee (Pippin), Franz Drameh (EDGE OF TOMORROW), Dominic Purcell (The Flash), and Wentworth Miller (The Flash). I know there a lot of fans of Arrow and The Flash, so I’m curious if The CW can keep the momentum going when concentrating on a group of characters for an entire series. We know that Netflix’s Daredevil was just the beginning of bringing together The Defendors, but it looks like DC fans are fairly pleased with the way CW is running things. With the plethora of movies and shows out there, is there any better time to be a comic fan?
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will hit TV sometime in 2016.
