Earlier today it was announced that the title and cast for the next Bond film would be revealed this Thursday. It looks like Paramount Pictures also felt Thursday was a good day to release something new, as the first trailer for TERMINATOR: GENISYS will make it's way online! To pump you up, here's a motion poster showcasing everyone's favorite endoskeleton.
Very reminiscent of sands in an hourglass, although given the series' reliance on time travel, I'd say that's no coincidence. Plot points and recent pictures that have made their way online haven't exactly won Terminator fans over, so I'd say that this upcoming trailer has a lot to prove. Director Alan Taylor has showed his strengths directing the likes of Game of Thrones and THOR: THE DARK WORLD, but can he compete with visionary James Cameron? As a fan of the first two films, I want a great Terminator sequel. Here's hoping Paramount has something special up their sleeve come Thursday.
TERMINATOR: GENISYS, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith, and J.K. Simmons, hits theaters on July 1, 2015.
