Terminator gets a babe

The upcoming fourth installment in the TERMINATOR franchise has a lot of things going for it. An A-list star in Christian Bale, an upcoming star in Sam Worthington, a former music video director in McG but so far no hot babe. And really, what's a TERMINATOR movie without a hot babe? Well producers have fixed that problem today with the casting of Moon Bloodgood. The actress has signed on to star in TERMINATOR SALVATION where she'll play "a no-nonsense and battle-hardened member of the resistance." Worthington will be playing the new Terminator while Bloodgood will likely be a love interest for Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin). Bale will be playing John Connor in a role of much debated substance. Despite web rumors to the contrary, TERMINATOR SALVATION has not been shut down and will begin filming in just about three weeks. Bloodgood can be seen in the upcoming Robert De Niro film WHAT JUST HAPPENED? and recently wrapped filming on STREET FIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN LI. Warner Bros. currently has the fourth TERMINATOR film set for a summer 2009 release.

Extra Tidbit: Bloodgood is a former LA Lakers cheerleader.
