I don’t know if this is part of Fox’s plan or not, but suddenly I find myself watching old “A-Team” reruns on TV. Just the other day I watched them protect the residents of a nursing home who were being bilked out of their cash. It was a damn entertaining hour.
As I’m watching these episodes, I find myself more and more interested in the A-TEAM movie hitting theaters this summer. At a time when most “action” movies have about 10 minutes of actual action, THE A-TEAM looks to be almost nothing but non-stop action (and to borrow a line from the trailer, it specializes in the ridiculous). And strangely enough, that’s exactly what I’m in the mood for.
