The Broken Lizard boys gear up in an exclusive clip for Super Troopers 2

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Meow that we're just one day away from the release of SUPER TROOPERS 2, it's as good a time as any to call your dealer, stock up on TimBits, and schedule an uber to drive you to your local cinema. After 17 long years, the kooky quintet of goofball officers are back for another patrol, and this time, they're headed to the Great White North. When an international border dispute arises between the U.S. and Canada, the Super Troopers – Mac, Thorny, Foster, Rabbit and Farva, are called in to set up a new Highway Patrol station in the disputed area. Unconventional police work follow, and the result is … a whole lot of hosers having the screws put to them for their wacky Canadian ways in SUPER TROOPERS 2!

Directed by Jay Chandrasekhar and written by Broken Lizard, SUPER TROOPERS 2 stars Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske. Joining the Broken Lizard comedy troop for the sequel to their 2001 cul-classic comedy are Lynda Carter ("Wonder Woman"), Emmanuelle Chriqui (ENTOURAGE), Marissa Coughlan (SUPER TROOPERS, FREDDY GOT FINGERED), Tyler Labine (TUCKER AND DALE VS EVIL), Hayes MacArthur ("Angie Tribeca"), Will Sasso (MAD TV), with Rob Lowe (PARKS AND RECREATION), and Brian Cox (THE BOURNE IDENTITY).

In the exclusive clip, we see an ecstatic Farva (Kevin Heffernan) reuniting with his fellow compatriots, ready to drop inappropriate jokes at Canada's expense like they're going out of style. While the group appears to be far from impressed with Farva's enthusiasm, I'm sure that it's only a matter of time before they realize their new digs will have upped their Syrup Chugging game significantly. After all, us Canadians have got the good stuff, not that Log Cabin nonsense. Get with the program, America!

SUPER TROOPERS 2 is set to patrol theaters on April 20th. Be sure to travel to the theater responsibly, meow, and above all else, enjoy yourselves, eh?
