The full triptych poster for Sam Raimi's Oz The Great and Powerful is revealed

The final triptych poster for director Sam Raimi's OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL has arrived, which bookends the last two posters released to the central image of the cast, making a rather vibrant and sweeping poster.  Obviously, the comparisons to ALICE IN WONDERLAND will exist, but I think this looks like a lot of fun, although I will likely base my in-theater viewing on reviews.  I'm not 100 percent onboard yet. Perhaps the new trailer, slated to be released tomorrow, will sway me.

Here's the triptych:

And here's a few more new images:

OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL starring James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, and Rachel Wiesz sets foot on the yellow brick road to theaters on March 8, 2013.  Check back tomorrow for the new trailer!

Extra Tidbit: Is this a definite in-theater viewing for you or are you still on the fence? What would convince you?

This and Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm are the two games I'm most looking forward to next year.

Rachel Weisz is enough for me to visit this in the theatres. I love Sam Raimi. The only thing I didn't like of his was Spiderman 3. Actually, Spiderman 3 was pretty solid, til it struck mid film.

It seems so poorly CGI heavy that I may not be able to hold on to imagination and just get distracted by the low-budget feel for a high budget movie.

Looks great, but I must admit, one I'll wait for the critics to be my guide on, before I venture into theaters. Also curious if this will be kid friendly?
