The Godzilla reboot gets yet another writer

Is it really that hard to keep a writer on GODZILLA? You’ve got Gareth Edwards (MONSTERS) directing which is a good match but what’s going on here?

Max Borenstein has been hired on to write another draft for the reboot. David Goyer wrote a draft and was attached to the film but apparently is no longer on the project. No detail as to why he left. Before Goyer it was David Callaham. Goyer was brought in to add to Callaham’s script. Now it’s all up to Borenstein.

Edwards is really committed to making this a good film. He’s stated that he wants nothing less than amazing especially since he loves that big ass scaley monster so much.

I could really give two craps less about seeing another Godzilla film but since Edwards is involve it’s sort of hard to stay uninterested.
