It's finally here! This Sunday, we chat about one of the most anticipated movies for the entire year. I'm fucking thrilled to say that this week kicks off the first chat of the year for a movie in theaters! You know what I'm talking about. This week we discuss Captain America: The Winter Soldier!

Your's truly has been hosting The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat for two years now. It doesn't matter if it's a movie in theaters or in your Blu-Ray collection. Great movies deserve great chats. You better believe we will give them what they deserve!

All you need to do is head to OUR CHATROOM at 7pm EST and make sure to log in with your MFC username and password. You are encouraged to bring up comments or questions about the movie at hand, or feel free to just hang out and and see what everyone else is chatting about. The regulars are extremely friendly people that will definitely make you feel welcome. And believe me, they are very, very cool schmoes.

And please remember this. Be respectful of others and their opinions during the chat. It's great to have multiple opinions of movies in the chat. I love that. What I don't love is for people to be insulted or badmouthed about their opinions. It's meant to be fun. Directly insulting someone and/or trolling people will get you kicked from the chat.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is high on my most anticipated of the year list and for good reason. I love the character and everything about him. I'm a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And most importantly, I just love great movies. And this definitely qualifies as great!

Join us this Sunday at 7pm EST for a fun discussion about the newest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Just click on the picture of the badass Winter Soldier below!

Extra Tidbit: If this movie sets the bar, then we are in store for some great movies this summer.

Whats up with the cliffhangers in films?

Just saw the movie and thought it was way better than the 1st movie until the ending where it ends so abruptly. So does this movie not cover the whole winter soldier arc because my only complaint was that like HOBBIT DESOLATION OF SMAUG and HUGER GAMES it seems they are just trying to stall it?

It wasn't a cliffhanger. The Winter Soldier wasn't the focus of the movie (despite the title).....it was Hydra's infiltration of Shield and the race to take it down. Barnes is a subplot with a large character arc (signed for 6 Marvel movies). As in the comics, he starts out a villain and is convinced eventually to become a good guy. There was no reason to tie up his storyline in one film, and nothing was left hanging. He's simply a villain that got away (with the potential to turn), like
