The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat: Drive

Man, all of this Batman talk the past few weeks have been a hell of a great time! Over the last three weeks, I think we must have discussed every little detail of these great movies. Now that we have reached August, I think it’s time we switch gears. We won’t be chatting about a comic book movie or a major release this summer. Instead, we will be talking about one of the most enjoyed movies from last year. This week’s movie is none other than Drive!

Since last October, yours truly has been hosting The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat every Sunday night at 7pm EST. We’ve discussed many great flicks including Ghostbusters, Terminator 2, Robocop, and Hot Fuzz. It’s a great opportunity to discuss flicks with your fellow schmoes live. Opinions will be shared. Thoughts will be provoked. Fun will be had by all.

All you need to do is head to OUR CHATROOM at 7pm EST and make sure to log in with your MFC username. Come prepared with talking points or questions, or feel free to lurk and and see what everyone else is discussing. The regulars are extremely friendly people that will definitely make you feel welcome. And believe me, they are very, very cool schmoes.

And please remember this. Be respectful of others and their opinions during the chat. It’s great to have multiple opinions of movies in the chat. I love that. What I don’t love is for people to be insulted or badmouthed about their opinions. Directly insulting someone will not be put up with.

I’m going to admit something here. I was very late to the party with this movie. And I really, REALLY wish I wasn’t. Very few movies do I find that I fall in love with immediately. Drive is definitely one of those movies. The first time I saw it, I KNEW it would be a movie we chat about. Now here we are. Honestly, I cannot wait to discuss Drive with all of you.
