As someone who has been married for almost a decade, I can attest to having taken a dump in the same bathroom as my wife. It is just one of those things that happens when you are married for a while. Shit just doesn't phase you anymore. I connected to the Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann characters in KNOCKED UP having had a child at the time and experienced some of the same conversations they had. So, when the trailer for THIS IS 40 was released last week, I grinned knowing it would tackle the further misadventures of the American Couple.
THIS IS 40 features Rudd, Mann, Melissa McCarthy, Chris O'Dowd, Jason Segel, Megan Fox, John Lithgow, and Albert Brooks. it opens in theaters December 21, 2012.
