It seems The Rock has finally listened to the entire world yelling at him to stop making awful kids movies and get back in the action game. We have very few true action heroes left these days (you can find the remnants of them in THE EXPENDABLES), and The Rock is blowing his chance to be a icon with crap like TOOTH FAIRY and RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN.
Hopefully FASTER will be a return to form for him. The plot seems simple enough, an ex-con just out of jail sets out for revenge on those responsible for his brother’s death. This short teaser trailer gives us a taste of that rampage, but sadly skimps on the fact that Maggie Grace, Moon Bloodgood and Carla Gugino are all also in this film. Looks like a great start to me, but I want to see more.
