It appears as though there's a spy on the set of Disney's THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE, the live-action adaptation of the classic tale that is currently shooting in Manhattan and stars Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel. Judging by the photos, this movie will function on an epic scale, with massive set pieces, pyrotechnics, and Nicolas Cage in a wig. The film is being directed by Cage's NATIONAL TREASURE cohort John Turtletaub, and will be Cage's first child-friendly film since he lent his voice to THE ANT BULLY in 2006. So for all you parents that want to introduce your kids to our generation's greatest head of hair, this would be your chance. Check out the rest of the set pics HERE.
