The trailer for Nola Circus promises love, guns, jealousy and afros

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Woof! I’ll tell you, I’ve had a bit of a morning, folks, and this trailer for NOLA CIRCUS really lifted my spirits. What we’ve got here is a quirky comedy from director Luc Annest about what happens when a rivalry between two competing barbershops in New Orleans escalates dramatically, sending the lives of the owners, their families, and their friends spiraling out of control.

The film stars actors Dave Davis, Robert Catrini, Vas Blackwood, Taryn Terrelle, Ricky Wayne, Corey Mendell Parker, Lucious Baston, Nicoye Banks, Martin Bats Bradford, Reginal Varice and Kamille McCuin in what appears to be a madcap comedic presentation about how a misunderstanding can lead to violence and the end of unions between lovers.

I’ll be straight with you, I’m usually a very difficult person to please when it comes to comedy, but this looks right up my alley. The Motown soundtrack has got my head bobbing, the eclectic cast looks to be delivering some solid jokes, and there’s just enough quirk to have me looking forward to when the film releases on April 25, 2017. I might have to book myself an appointment for a buzz when NOLA CIRCUS comes to town.
