The Walking Dead Will Have an Extended Season Finale on March 29th
More zombie smashing is always a good thing; more stumbling through the woods yelling for Carl is not. Here’s hoping we’re getting more of the former.
The Walking Dead is one of the biggest shows on television which, despite nearing the end of its fifth season, is more popular than ever. AMC recently announced that they’ll be doing what everyone does with something popular; giving us more of it! The upcoming March 29th finale will be an extended 90 minute episode, so make sure to stock some extra snacks!
The episode goes by the title “Conquer” and this synopsis from AMC gives us a clue what to expect.
Daryl finds himself in trouble while out on the run. Meanwhile, in Alexandria, Rick and his group continue to feel like outsiders as danger lurks near the gates.
Overall I'd have to say that I'm pretty impressed with this season so far; things are moving forward at a brisk pace, no more hanging out at farms or prisons for 16 episodes in a row. I know there are people out there that give The Walking Dead a hard time but even they would have to admit that the show has seen a marked improvement in recent years.
The Walking Dead returns tonight at 9/8c on AMC.
