The world is not the same in the green & red band trailers for Logan

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

LOGAN is really shaping up to be almost the art-house alternative to superhero movies. The recent release of ominous, dramatic photos from the movie, along with the promise of a gritty tone, and hard R-rating give off the vibe of something an indie filmmaker would make if given free-range on a comic book movie. All we needed was some footage to really set the tone, and to confirm that this final outing for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine would be something we’ve never seen before. Oh, and look what I have here.

Enjoy!

I am speechless. LOGAN really is looking like it will offer fans something different than a normal adventure we’ve seen in standard good guy vs. bad guy comic book movies. Centering on a tortured, older Logan (Jackman) in a world where mutants are practically gone, this looks like a story of redemption and brutality, much in line with a riveting drama rather than a CGI-driven action flick. If fans are wanting a different kind of comic book movie, this is it. On a superficial note, I can’t wait to watch the clawed hero disembowel someone. By that I mean really disembowel someone, to the point where it’s probably offense.

On that note, a red band trailer dropped not long after the original. There's not much difference between the two except for…well…you'll see it when you see it.

LOGAN slashes his way into theaters March 3, 2017 with Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Stephen Merchant, Boyd Holbrook and more.
