Thoroughbreds w/ Anton Yelchin & Anya Taylor-Joy gets new poster & clip

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

You know it's not that I have been overly impressed with the marketing we have seen thus far surrounding writer/director Cory Finley's upcoming black-comedy thriller THOROUGHBREDS starring Anya Taylor-Joy, and Olivia Cooke, but I'm counting down the days until I can finally peep it all the same.

Why? Because the film is one of (if not THE) final film starring Anton Yelchin. The GREEN ROOM and FRIGHT NIGHT remake star was one of my absolute favorite actors and his tragic passing hit me harder than expected. So it is out of respect to the phenomenally charming actor that I will be watching this comedy-thriller when it hits the March. So far we have seen a trailer and poster for the film, but today we have yet another poster and a cool new clip.

The clip features Olivia Cooke teaching THE WITCH star Anya-Taylor Joy "The Technique" aka how to cry on command and it is creepy-cute so I suggest giving it a watch. Then make sure to hit us up and let us know if you plan to watch the film this March in the comments below or on social media.

Synopsis:

Two teenage girls in suburban Connecticut who rekindle their unlikely friendship after years of growing apart. In the process, they learn that neither is what she seems to be and that a murder might solve both of their problems.

The film is written & directed by Cory Finley and stars Anton Yelchin, Anya Taylor-Joy & Olivia Cooke. THOROUGHBREDS hits select theaters March 9, 2018.
