Three new On the Road posters include a less than glamorous Amy Adams

ON THE ROAD is an important novel in American literature. That being said, it is not exactly the easiest material to make a movie from, which is why it has taken this long to have a big screen adaptation of the story.

But, getting Kristen Stewart to star in your film almost guarantees a studio backing. The recently released trailer for the film was met with a lukewarm reception, as was the initial character poster featuring Tom Sturridge.

We now have three more character posters featuring Amy Adams, Alice Braga, and Elizabeth Moss. Both Braga and Moss look their normal pretty selves albeit in period attire. Amy Adams, however, looks like death warmed over. So far she appears to be the only one stretching herself in this film.

Synopsis: After the death of his father, Sal Paradise, an aspiring New York writer, meets Dean Moriarty, a wild and infectiously charismatic ex-con. They hit it off immediately. Determined to avoid the pitfalls of a narrow, prescribed life, Sal hits the road, joining Dean on what evolves into a life-changing physical and emotional odyssey. Thirsting for freedom, they discover the world, the ecstasy of experience, the connectedness of humanity and ultimately themselves.

Check out the new posters below.
