Director Joseph Kosinski‘s OBLIVION, starring Tom Cruise, is just three weeks away and today we have four clips from the film that dive deeper into its sci-fi roots. In addition, you can stream the entire soundtrack by M83, Anthony Gonzalez, and Jack Trapanese below!  Cruise stars as Jack, a drone repairman living in an apocalyptic Earth, ravaged by war with aliens, but starts to uncover information that leads him to believe all may not be what it seems. Thus far, the trailers and featurettes have warmed my cinematic belly and then some.

The clips feature Cruise being attacked by some type of creature, interrogated by Morgan Freeman, investigating a crash site that bring him Olga Kurylenko, and has a cryptic discussion with Andrea Riseborough‘s character, Julia. It all serves as a delicious appetizer to what is sure to be an entertaining flick.  I certainly have my theories about what’s going on in the film, but am happily unaware of any true spoilers.  I’m looking forward to some surprises for once.

Here’s the clips:

Here’s the synopsis:

On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one man’s confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind. Jack Harper (Cruise) is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth. Part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with a terrifying threat known as the Scavs, Jack’s mission is nearly complete.  Living and patrolling the breathtaking skies from thousands of feet above, his soaring existence is brought crashing down when he rescues a beautiful stranger from a downed spacecraft. Her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands.

OBLIVION, starring Tom Cruise, Olga Kurylenko, Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, opens April 26, 2013.
