Top 10 Movie Trailers of 2016 (video)

Movie trailers. You love 'em. I love 'em. They kind of make the movie fan's world spin around and serve as our first look, our hype machine, and general impression of the final film. Throughout the year we anxiously await the next cool trailer that will sweep us off our feet and lament the ones that fail to ignite us. Thankfully, we can always count on some beautifully chopped, kickass trailers on a year-to-year basis, sometimes worth rewatching more than the final film. 2016 was no different, as plenty of great trailers dropped, some standing out in the "best of" category. And that's where this video comes in. After looking at everything that's hit this year, we count down our Top 10 favorites, which left a lasting impression and added to the fine art of the trailer.

On that note, some of these are for films released in 2017 (we are counting any trailer released in 2016, regardless of when it hits theaters) and our cutoff was December 10th (hey, we have to have time to edit), so anything after that isn't counted in this list (so don't yell at us for BLADE RUNNER 2049 not being on here).
