The Heretics Chad Archibald

Director Chad Archibald clearly enjoys grossing out his audience with disgusting transformations. This is the filmmaker who recently brought us the body horror film BITE, which includes moments like this one, and judging by the newly released trailer for his upcoming film THE HERETICS he still has more grotesqueries to show us.

Starring Nina Kiri, Ry Barrett, and Jorja Cadence, THE HERETICS was written by BITE's Jayme Laforest and is described as a "mixture of cult possession and body horror." The story centers on

a young girl, Gloria who is abducted by a man, after he claims that a cult is hunting her. As Gloria begins falling ill and undergoing frightening transformations, we realize that the cult isn’t the only thing that she, or her captor needs to fear.

A Black Fawn Films / Breakthrough Entertainment production, THE HERETICS made its world premiere at the Canadian Film Fest in March and is about to embark on a worldwide festival tour. To get an early look at the horror that awaits the festival audiences, check out the trailer below.

Archibald produced the film with Cody Calahan and Christopher Giroux. BED OF THE DEAD director Jeff Maher served as cinematographer.
