And just like that, another star is born. Garrett Hedlund has been cast as the lead in the sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic TRON. The sequel, long referred to as TRON 2, or TR2N, is now simply called TRON as well.

Producers cast their search far and wide for the effects-laden film's lead, once considering the likes of Ryan Gosling and Chris Pine for the role. Looks like they were feeling generous, choosing instead to cast relative unknown Hedlund into the sudden spotlight. Previously a supporting actor in films like ERAGON and GEORGIA RULE, Hedlund is almost certainly on the road to becoming a household name with this new role, a position which many Hollywood insiders have had him tapped for for a while now. I should know because I'm a Hollywood insider. If you don't believe me ask my friend, he'll tell you.

Cool
very cool. I like this kid.

But, before we can consider this article written by a mock "Hollywood insider," How's about you run through your writing to find all your typos.

Just makes you look bad, man.

A lot of people read this stuff, and it's embarrassing to see double words used back-to-back. And the misspelling of the word "his."

Just give it a quick proofread man, seriously.

That's cool. I've kind of been a semi-fan of his for a while and figured he'd make it big sooner or later. (By semi fan I mean he's been decent in evetything I've seen him in but hasn't exactly wowed me) Sure there are better actors his age (Emile Hirsch, etc.) but there are definitely much, much worse. Overall, I think he's a decent enough choice.

Personally I liked the whole TR2N thing so

Personally I liked the whole TR2N thing so the fact that it's just boring old "Tron" now disappoints me, but at least the didn't give it some kind of horrible subtitle.
