Not content with crafting perhaps the world’s most NSFW redband trailer, ROOM IN ROME has followed that up with the only movie poster I've actually had to censor before posting.

For those of you unfamiliar with the project, it’s the first English language feature from writer/director Julio Medem, and features Elena Anaya and Natasha Yarovenko as two girls who meet randomly and go to town on each other for a night in Rome. The result appears to be a softcore porn with the world’s highest production values, which allows it to claim that yes, it’s an actual movie amidst endless amounts of scissoring and 69-ing.

Man, another film that won't be on the big screen.
I mean, this is just criminal to the point of stupid! We're stuck with mediocre and worse films from the Hollywood machine and we have to wait for ROOM IN ROME to come to DVD instead of catching it on the big screen where the producers wanted it to be? Where's my Congressman? I want to file a complaint!

Its like 'Last Tango in Paris' with hot chicks. I'm okay with that. As long as it doesn't have Marlon Brando doing unspeakable things with butter, I'm fine with this. Now, if these ladies want to throw some butter into the mix, I might allow it.



Personally, I hope it doesn't have a message. I've never seen a movie with graphic sex scenes, a message, and thought the movie...
Its like 'Last Tango in Paris' with hot chicks. I'm okay with that. As long as it doesn't have Marlon Brando doing unspeakable things with butter, I'm fine with this. Now, if these ladies want to throw some butter into the mix, I might allow it.



Personally, I hope it doesn't have a message. I've never seen a movie with graphic sex scenes, a message, and thought the movie wasn't pretentious. 'The Dreamers', 'Last Tango in Paris', whatever, if it walks like a porn and talks like a porn, don't ruin it with angst.



In short, this movie probably won't be good, but it'll be an interesting watch.

Feeling Skeptical
I'm not sold on this idea yet. Sure, the scenes are very provocative, but is there a story to this? If I'm sitting through two hours of lesbian porn and no substance, then no thanks. If, however, there is something more to be had here, then maybe it's worth a look. I'd like to know more about this before I spend the money or time on it.

A movie about girls having lots of sex and really deep meaningful conversations. I mean, their conversations will inevitably be serious and meaningful to somehow qualify it as an actual film instead of something you'd see on any adult channel. Even the basic plot is typical porn-material.

I have no idea why you censored the poster. Americans are way too seriously hung up about naked bodies. This poster is no more than PG-13, unless I'm missing something.
