It's been announced the upcoming Game of Thrones IMAX screenings have been delayed in order to add more theaters to the event. Instead of starting on January 23, the screenings will now run from January 29 through February 5 in over 200 IMAX theaters, and it will feature the final two season 4 episodes of the series, as well as an exclusive season 5 trailer. Tickets go on sale today, and you can find out which theaters are participating in the event by visiting the official IMAX website.

HBO has also released two very snazzy (and spoilery) IMAX-exclusive Game of Thrones posters created by illustrator Robert Ball that will be handed out to the first 300 ticket holders on opening night. "The Watchers on The Wall" poster will be distributed at AMC IMAX theaters, and "The Children" poster will be available at all other participating IMAX theaters. But if you haven't season 4 of the HBO series yet, you'll probably want to avoid checking out these posters. Trust me.

Season 5 of Game of Thrones will debut on HBO on April 12, 2015.
