Jason Momoa vows to follow his enemies into hell in the second trailer for Conan the Barbarian

I really thought the first trailer for CONAN THE BARBARIAN was a joke.

Now a second trailer has been released for the film and I still don't know what to think. Does it look better than I expected? Um, sure. The good thing about this trailer is that you actually get a sense of the film, unlike the first one where you had to watch some weird campfire with visions or some shit. This trailer has all the things you've been missing: Stephen Lang, Rose McGowan, the many poses of Jason Momoa, and overuse of the Wilhelm scream.

Seriously looks like the Scorpion King with more orange and heavy teal. Moma looks terrible in the part. The CGI looks way cartoony.

Conan should be gitty, not an overly polished, overly post-color corrected CGI fest. Nothing about this looks good.

All the next trailer needs is a few shots of Ron Perlman and I'm sold. Also if the earlier stills showing a bunch of nudity is any indication this movie will still be rated R. That's right Hollywood paying adults want some quality rated R movies!

I didn't really have any interest in this movie. But it actually looks like it could be a really fun and entertaining adventure. As far as August movies go, I'd much rather see this than Rise of the Apes

The Arnie Conan is my fave movie of all time, but it wasn’t the source material. It was a blend of Samurai Genre and Sword and Sandal films. I am really excited for this, and hope it will be good. If not, then ill just stick to my Conan comics and REH Stories. But I hope it gets a hard R release – ps, I am so sick of 3D.

Hopefully I'm wrong. But the decision to post-convert 3D and the ballooning budget - somewhere near $100M I hear - tells me we're in for a movie that's been hacked into more pieces than Thulsa Doom.

Definitely holding out hope, as it's supposed to be more book-faithful, and less 80s-B-movie cornball like Ahhnolds.

But, man, Momoa isn't as imposing as I'd think, and nothing about either trailer made it stand out from Scorpion King schlock.

Plus, as said, that fucking T Mobile ad is incredibly awful.

Despite some cool imagery, it still doesn't grab me. Momoa in particular just doesn't seem to have the presence to play Conan. I am going to reserve my opinion till I see it but,it kinda looks like an expensive Hercules/Xena episode at this point.

Looks like a fun Swords & Sorcery EPIC to me. Just don't hold back on the head choppin', and nipples already. Thats actually good advice for any movie really, who wouldn't want to see some nippage, and brutal decaps in Madea Goes to Camp, or whatever the Hell those movies are about anyway.

I agree, that looks far BETTER than the original. I know we all like to romanticize old films but the first Conan was by no means a good film, a classic, sure, but not good. Arnold was a piece of cardboard.

The original John Millus version was done without crappy CGI, and was the model of sword and sorcery flicks for 20+ years. This PG-13 rated kiddie bullshit isn't even fit to be licking the shit from Millus' boots.

Conan the Barbarian, The Beastmaster, and the animated Fire and Ice were all produced within a year so it's unlikely they influenced each other, which makes Red Sonja and Conan the Destroyer the only ones to capitalize on Conan's success.

Kull the Conquerer in 1997 was just a vehicle for Kevin

- Jason looks boring
