Wall-E robot store
This faux-conglomerate site (undoubtedly a knock at our future overlords, Wal-Mart), another of the now-omnipresent "viral marketing", is a neat and surprisingly detailed tie-in for Pixar's upcoming CG-animated film WALL-E. The site features "news" on floating cities and corporate punk, and perhaps most importantly, specs on available models of robotics. The movie focuses on a trashbot (Waste Allocation Load Lifter, Earth Class -- WALL-E) who, after years spent cleaning the immense garbage amassed on a future Earth, begins to question his destiny when he falls in love.
Click to start your "shopping"! Thanks to 'Paul W.' for playing the RATATOUILLE videogame and letting us know where to pick up a nannybot.
|Extra Tidbit:||In ALIEN RESURRECTION we learn that Weyland-Yutani (aka The Company) was "bought out by Wal-Mart". In reality, we probably won't have to wait a few hundred years for that.|
