Warner Bros already at work on Clash of the Titans 3

11.03.2011by:

So of course, the CLASH OF THE TITANS sequel WRATH OF THE TITANS hasn't even been released yet (it's currently in post), but Warner Bros is going ahead and gearing up for CLASH OF THE TITANS 3.

According to THR's Heat Vision, WB has commissioned WRATH writers Dan Mazeau, David Leslie Johnson, and Steven Knight (who also share a story credit with GREEN LANTERN's Greg Berlanti) to write the third installment of the Greek myth inspired action-adventure films starring Sam Worthington as Perseus. At this early of a stage, the only thing known is that the character 'Agenor', a sort of sidekick played by Toby Kebbell (WAR HORSE, THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE), may figure into the new story, as the second film leaves the door open for the character's return.

Though no deals are officially in place right now, WRATH director Jonathan Liebesman is expected to helm the third installment.

WRATH OF THE TITANS - starring Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Danny Huston, Edgar Ramirez, Rosamund Pike and Bill Nighy - opens March 30th.
Extra Tidbit: WB must be pretty happy with WRATH...

The first was just awful, at least the version that was released. A director's cut/re-edit might make it a decent film, but otherwise it sucked. I can't say that I'm interested a 1 sequel, much less 2.

Are these sequels also going to have anti-climactic final battles too?

I'll try to keep an open mind. Maybe they made huge improvements. I hope so because in my opinion Clash Of The Titans was a turd burger.

Clash was ASS

The pacing was so off, you can tell they cut it to shit. He learned how to be a fucking pro swordsman in like what? One fucking day? You can tell the movie went through studio hell, and I can't see the 2nd one being any different.

This is a definite paycheck movie for all these great actors.

Despite the hate it gets, I really enjoyed the first film. Looking forward to the sequel and third film.

I'm with ElderPredator, I thought the remake was well done although the original is still superior. I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes...

Whoa hold your flying horses. Shouldn't they release the second one so people can chuck their rocks at it? I for one didn't mind the first one. The 3D sucked flying horse balls. Whats with the constant post conversion crap. It doesn't add anything to the overall quality of the film. All it seems to do is make my wallet thinner. Yes I know what you're gonna say but sometimes they don't have 2D showings.

Oh yeah and saying that they are gearing up for a third installment to me is the Spin Doctors at work trying to cover up the fact that the sequel may very well suck. Green Lantern anyone?

That's ballsy. Wrath must be great.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first movie. Liam and Ralph were badass and Medusa was handled very well.

I'm the minority here but I enjoyed CLASH at some level (I watched in 2D of course), so I'm up.
